We’ve got video of Daniel Espino throwing baseballs!

It would be huge to get Espino back pitching by July this year. We’ll see!

Guards Insider has an updated list of Winter/Fall League Stats for you. Nice to see Johnathan Rodriguez performing so well

Paul Hoynes of Cleveland dot com had a couple quites from Guardians executive vice president and assistant GM Matt Forman on Deyvison De Los Santos.

“He’s a right-handed corner infielder with well above average power,” said Forman, just before the Guardians front office boarded a flight back to Cleveland on Wednesday. “He signed in 2019, but didn’t have a chance to start his professional career until 2021 because of COVID. In his third professional season, he’s reached Double-A as a 20-year-old. He has prodigious raw power, and he’s working on ways to consistently tap into that power. We’re excited to add that kind of impact potential to the organization.”

Jason Lloyd of the Athletic mentioned him possibly trying the outfield, but it seemed like an off-the-cuff remark. Lloyd again brought up the potential of trading Guardians’ closer Emmanuel Clase. Lloyd had an additional article speculating that the Guardians may need to extend their young talent earlier.

Not a lot else happening in baseball or with the Guardians, but we’ll see what today may bring!
