With the Winter Meetings starting in Nashville on Sunday, all the baseball reporters are getting their previews ready from the Athletic’s Zack Meisel, who points out that Cleveland usually does SOMETHING at the Winter Meetings, to ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel and David Schoenfield, who think Cleveland should keep Shane Bieber for now, to MLB reporters analyzing what each team might do.

Our own Brendan Walsh offered an excellent preview of the Winter Meetings today also.

Meanwhile, the Guardians quietly designated Oscar Gonzalez for assignment and lost him to the Yankees, freeing up a roster spot for use in the Rule 5 draft on Tuesday, December 5th if need be.
