The Tyler Glasnow trade seems to finally be falling into place:
BREAKING: The Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays are in agreement on a trade to send RHP Tyler Glasnow and OF Manuel Margot to the Dodgers for RHP Ryan Pepiot and OF Jonny Deluca -- contingent on Glasnow signing an extension with L.A., which is expected, sources tell ESPN.— Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) December 15, 2023
Jack Flaherty signed a one-year, prove-it deal with the Detroit Tigers:
And the Rangers signed Tyler Mahle to a two-year deal:
Breakdown of Tyler Mahle’s two-year, $22 million deal with the Texas Rangers, per sources: $5.5 million in 2024, $16.5 million in 2025. The deal includes $5 million in incentives and a limited no-trade clause.— Robert Murray (@ByRobertMurray) December 15, 2023
And now we wait to see if Bieber is moved. Zack Meisel of the Athletic wrote a little bit about that in his preview of the Guardians 40-man roster for 2023 as things currently stand, saying that his guess is that Bieber is dealt this offseason. He also has a lot of other interesting tidbits, so, as always, be sure to subscribe and check it out.
Zack also confirmed that the Guardians are changing their seats at Progressive Field to some shade of navy blue.
Yes, the Guardians are replacing the forest-green seats with blue seats. They’re expected to be a navy-like hue. Maybe dark sapphire or midnight or oxford blue. I don’t have a Sherwin Williams color palette in front of me. It’ll be done in stages, won’t be finished this winter.— Zack Meisel (@ZackMeisel) December 14, 2023
