So, looking at how the rotation sets up the rest of the way, I think it can be set up reasonably nicely, assuming Civale comes back for the fourth spot in the rotation on Tuesday, 20 September, in Chicago against the White Sox.
By series:
9/15, vs. CWS - Gaddis
Already announced by the club
9/16, 9/17, 9/17, 9/18, 9/19 vs. MIN - McKenzie, Bieber, Pilkington, Morris, Quantrill
Have to figure that McCarty will piggyback in either the second game on Saturday or the game on Sunday with one of Pilkington or Morris, like they did against LAA.
9/20, 9/21, 9/22 @ CWS - Civale, McKenzie, Bieber
Three good starters to try to win in Chicago
9/23, 9/24, 9/25 @ TEX - Pilkington/Morris, Quantrill, Civale
One of the minor league starters, plus the two "tier two" guys - Quantrill and returning from injury Civale
9/27, 9/28, 9/29 vs. TBR - Bieber, McKenzie, Quantrill
In the Tampa series, I took advantage of the off-day to move Bieber ahead of McKenzie in the rotation, and also to bump Quantrill and Civale ahead of Pilkington/Morris.
9/30, 10/1, 10/2, 10/3, 10/4, 10/5 vs KCR - Civale, Pilkington/Morris, Bieber, McKenzie, Quantrill, Civale
In this series, Bieber, McKenzie, and Quantrill get set up to be on regular rest for the Wild Card series, if it plays out that way, as those games would be 10/7-10/9
