Cleveland remembers the First Rule of Holes a little too late

There is an old pearl of wisdom that I learned from Molly Ivins long ago called the First Rule of Holes: “When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” By the time Cleveland stopped digging, they were in an 11-1 deficit that was one run too deep to escape from.
