Masks will also no longer be required for entry

The Cleveland organization announced Tuesday afternoon that Progressive Field will return to full capacity starting Wednesday, June 2, when the club hosts the Chicago White Sox.

The news follows Governor Mike DeWine’s statewide address last week, during which he announced that all COVID-19 health mandates in Ohio will be lifted on June 2. Gov. DeWine cautioned that “lifting these orders does not mean the virus is gone,” but hopes that the timeline will allow Ohioans to get vaccinated prior to the health orders being lifted.

The ball club also announced that masks will be optional at Progressive Field. The ballpark will continue to enforce their current bag policy, and all tickets will be mobile entry.

If you wish to purchase tickets for one or more of their remaining 2021 home games, tickets will go on sale Wednesday, May 26 at 10 a.m. ET.

You may commence with your jokes about Cleveland’s attendance already being at “full capacity.”
