Welcome to our first ever Hustle Double, where we debate community-asked questions and determine the winner based on your votes.

Today’s Hustle Double question comes to us from Scott Brady, who posed to following question in Discord:

Whose injury-related downfall was more tragic: Sizemore or Hafner?

1.) We announce the debate topic, as well as the randomly-assigned sides and the order of our debate.

2.) The community votes in our poll at the end of this article to establish who they think had the more tragic downfall before the debate begins.

3.) Merritt and I engage in three rounds of dialogue, arguing the merits of our positions.

4.) After the debate, the community votes on the same question again. The debater who positively influenced the movement of more votes is our winner.

I used a coin-flipping app to assign our positions today, and Merritt chose tails. It came up heads twice. Arguing on behalf of the motion that Grady Sizemore’s injuries were more tragic is our own Merritt Rohlfing. I will argue on behalf of the motion that Travis Hafner’s injuries took on the Shakespearian aspect with more aplomb. I will also present first.

We will present the results of our debate on Monday at noon, at which time you can vote for the winner. Until that time, vote in the poll, and enjoy this spicy new #content.
