Cleveland Indians rookie right-hander Triston McKenzie has earned another start after his dazzling major league debut on Saturday against Detroit. What that means for the futures of Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac, relegated to the club’s alternate training site in Eastlake, remains to be determined.

Indians president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti told reporters via Zoom on Sunday that McKenzie will remain with the big league club and make at least one more start rather than return to Classic Park in Lake County to train.
