Franmil Reyes away from the team after his antsy 4th of July

Morning N&N for July 8, 2020

Franmil Reyes has been away from the team as a precaution after he was out celebrating the Fourth of July on Saturday. He wore no mask at the event, and thus has been asked to undergo a test before returning.

In other news, Cookie Carrasco threw 3 innings of a sim game. The first two were great, but Arroyo and Chang both homered in the 3rd. Logan Allen also pitched.

Here’s something you didn’t know you wanted: A Bradley Zimmer article that honestly feels like something I already read in March 2020 and August 2019. And maybe a couple more times.

And, uh, I don’t know if the Indians are doing a better job of social distancing than other teams, or what, but there really aren’t any other nuggets that I’ve seen. I’m not sure there is another team that I’ve seen less news about than ours. Maybe everyone is just busy reporting on name change ideas.
