Columbus Clippers teaming with National Guard to distribute face masks

The Columbus Clippers have joined the growing list of MLB and MiLB organizations stepping up to help in this time of crisis. For every $25 or more spent in the Clippers Cargo Store, the Clippers will donate two face masks to the Central Ohio Community.

There was never a bad time to buy a Los Veleros hat, but it’s an even better time now.

I thought about making this into a full post, but there probably isn’t enough there. In the meantime, check out this neat Indians’ best-of list from all the way back in 1949, which I found while going through old issues of Baseball Digest.

Charlie Jamieson over Shoeless Joe Jackson is the only real big error, and the author doesn’t seem to be omitting Jackson purely because of the Black Sox scandal, either. He just loves him some Charlie Jamieson.
