What about Reds & Francisco Lindor? |

From Terry Pluto:

The MLBNetwork’s Jon Morosi listed the Reds as being interested in Lindor. My first thought was ... why?

Yes, the Reds need a shortstop. They are letting Freddy Galvis leave. Their top prospect is Jose Garcia, who isn’t ready. A few fans emailed me almost screaming: “How can the Reds afford Lindor and we can’t?”

What could work with the Reds? The Indians have loved prospect Nick Senzel for years. He can play the outfield and infield. Senzel, 25, is a career .312 minor-league hitter (.895 OPS) while battling injuries the last two seasons. Garcia is their top shortstop prospect. Those two could be a basis for a deal.
