Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but it looks like the MLB players want there to be more 2021 baseball games than the owners do.

One owner reportedly said “I think there will be significant pressure for players to get the vaccine first before they go to spring training, and if that has to be moved back to April and play 130 games, so be it.” which is a valid concern, but when have we seen this lack of passion about baseball being played before?

The players and managers, however, say they are planning on a full 162-game season.

Around baseball

• The Mariners and Rangers made a trade! Rafael Montero for Jose Corniell and a PTBNL!

• The deal that David Dahl and the Rangers agreed to is for 2.7M.

• Juan Soto, Gustav Walker-Buehler, and LGFT Clint Frazier are among the players who qualified for Super 2.

• Stephen Strasburg has been doing a little throwing.
