Sinclair sells naming rights for regional sports networks to Bally’s

It has been easy to forget that Fox sold their regional sports network to Sinclair Broadcasting, especially since the Fox Sports name had not been removed from the station names. Now, it will probably be easy to forget that Sinclair Broadcasting operates the Indians broadcast home since the naming rights will belong to Bally’s. It is anyone’s guess how this will impact bidding the next time that broadcasting rights are up for bid.

Fox Sports Ohio, SportsTime Ohio are being rebranded as Bally Sports -
Sinclair reached a long-term deal with casino operator Bally’s for the naming rights to its stable of regional sports networks, which includes the cable homes of the Cavaliers and Indians. The 10-year agreement is valued at $85 million, according to the New York Post.

Jones among 5 added to Tribe's 40-man - Before the deadline, the Indians added infielders Nolan Jones, Ernie Clement and Gabriel Arias, and right-handers Eli Morgan and Carlos Vargas to the 40-man roster.

Mahoning Valley Scrappers hope to receive an answer on their future 'later this month or early December' - The Scrappers' future has been in question for more than a year, since it was revealed that Major League Baseball was planning to take over Minor League Baseball and cut the latter's big-league affiliations to 120. Mahoning Valley likely won't be one of the Indians' four affiliates in 2021.

Cleveland Indians add Nolan Jones and 4 others to fill 40-man roster -
Infielders Nolan Jones, Gabriel Arias and Ernie Clement, along with right-handers Eli Morgan and Carlos Vargas, were added to the Indians big-league roster to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft in December. Will Benson, the Tribe's No.1 pick in 2016, was left unprotected.
