First, some roster news:

• Gavin Lux was added to the Dodgers’ roster for the LDS

• Mike Clevinger was added to San Diego’s after missing the Wild Card series due to injury. More on this in a minute.

Braves 9, Marlins 5

• Miami had a 4 to 1 lead, but 6 Atlanta runs in the 7th was too much for the Fishies to compete with

Astros 5, Athletics 2

The garbage cans are working for the Astros in Dodger Stadium again.

Rays 7, Yankees 5

Giancarlo Stanton hit a 3-run homer to Idaho, but that wasn’t enough for the Yankees in this one. Poor Yankees.

Dodgers 5, Padres 1

• The preview said Mike Clevinger vs. Dwayne Walker-Buehler, but the two of them combined to pitch just 5 innings. Clevinger left after two pitches in the 2nd, because his velocity dropped.

• Ryan Weathers, a 20-year-old San Diego reliever, became the 2nd pitcher in MLB history to make his debut in the postseason.

An Eric Hosmer error opened the floodgates for Dodger BABiP. You love to see it.
