Tribe News
Cheating Astros should lose more picks, compensate Indians and other teams | cleveland.com
From Terry Pluto:
I’m not about to insist the Indians would have defeated Houston in 2018 if both teams had been playing according to the rules. The Astros had superior talent.
But Houston was cheating before the 2018 playoffs and it’s naive to pretend it didn’t continue in the postseason, given the cell phone dude hanging around the opposing team’s dugout.
Finally, suppose the Indians had won at least a single game, forcing a Game 4 in Cleveland. That could have been worth an extra $1 million to the Tribe.
