Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Indians fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

It’s doesn’t get more official than this: The final FanPulse of the 2019 regular season. The next one will come following the conclusion of either an improbable, heroic run at the postseason, or a stunning series of missed opportunities crashing down around the Indians.

No matter the outcome, the results are probably going to be incredibly skewed one way or another, depending on how Indians fans are feeling when the poll goes out.

This week’s probably is too, as the Indians were neck and neck with the Rays for the second Wild Card spot when SB Nation asked fans how they felt on Monday. As you can see, they felt pretty good about it.

But now, having dropped two of three to the White Sox and putting the Wild Card a full two games away with three left to play? It’s pretty bleak, folks.

Of course, 80% of respondents could be taking a bigger picture approach to the Indians, which is also fair. They’ll still have a great rotation next season, and probably (hopefully) Francisco Lindor, José Ramírez, and Carlos Santana making up the majority of their infield, not to mention Nolan Jones knocking on the door.
