Jordan Luplow and Franmil Reyes provided the offense and Zach Plesac showed up with the pitching. Plesac was provided with 8 runs last night, but 1 would have been enough, as he pitched a complete game shutout against the Angels of Anaheim. It was kinda insane that Tito left him out there once the lead grew to 8, but what a cool moment for the rookie RHP.
His night was made easier by Mike Trout missing his 2nd consecutive game with a wordy foot injury, but make no mistake—he was so SO GOOD in this one.
