Kluber exits Triple-A rehab start after one inning with abdominal tightness | cleveland.com
Kluber’s velocity was down, sitting in the upper 80s, in his one inning of work. From Joe Noga:
Corey Kluber’s third rehab start ended much earlier than it was scheduled to Sunday as the two-time Cy Young Award winner exited his Triple-A outing in Charlotte after one inning.
The Cleveland Indians announced Kluber was removed from the game for precautionary reasons with left abdominal tightness. He is expected to return to Cleveland on Monday for further testing, possibly an MRI.
