Major League Baseball today revealed the 2020 schedules for all 30 teams.
The Indians will start their 2020 campaign with 13 games against AL Central opponents before venturing out for a four-game set against the Rays.
They start the season on March 26 at home against the Detroit Tigers with a built-in weather day on March 27 in case it rains or snows or hails or fire tornadoes or whatever the heck happens in Cleveland in late March — anything is possible. They’ll play 16 straight games (or 17 if the opener is delayed by a day) before their first off day on April 13, then 16 more before another break on April 30. That’s at least 32 games in 33 days; 33 in 34 if the opener is delayed.
The Indians will wrap up the season facing the Mariners and White Sox on the road and returning home to cap it off against the Blue Jays at home.
