Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Indians fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
This week, SB Nation polled baseball fans on who they think will win the American League MVP this season. It should come as no surprise that Mike Trout is the odds-on favorite to win at 65%. After all, he is Mike Trout, and he just inked a huge deal with the Los Angeles Angels. That has to count for something.
Some of you, though, are extra awesome. Three percent of you, to be exact.

Last week, Indians fans gave Terry Francona a 100% approval rating heading into the season, one of the few perfect scores in all of SB Nation. That dipped a bit to 82%, presumably because we all just want to take our frustrations out on someone, and Tito is the closest target. Or maybe it’s because he batted Tyler Naquin third multiple times in the same week, I can’t decide.
When it comes to the direction the Indians are headed, only 53% were confident in what the Tribe were doing, down from 74% last week. That’s a huge drop, but understandable given the abomination we’ve witnessed on the field. The Indians are trying to catch multiple lightning strikes in multiple rubber bottles, and we’re clearly not seeing the fruits of those bets quite yet. Hopefully they come.
