Here’s to a great week!
Another classic Hey Hoynsie. I’d like to have what this Will Turner fella is having.
Hey, Hoynsie: I feel what the Indians are doing this offseason is brilliant. They’re getting younger while bringing in talent that has yet to reach its prime. Jake Bauers was on a lot of the top 100 prospect lists, while Edwin Encarnacion is going downhill. Carlos Santana brings a badly needed injection of on-base percentage at first base. Which young players and prospects do you see helping Cleveland this season? -- Will Turner, Essex, Va.
Hey, Will: I’m not sure you speak for the majority of fans, but hey, it’s a free country. A team like the Indians needs to constantly infuse talented young players into the 25-man roster so they can continue to contend for the postseason, while keeping the payroll under control.
But the players can’t be just young and cheap. They have to be young and talented.
