Is the Indians’ lineup as bad as it appears to be | cleveland.com
More questions, Hoynsie magic. From Paul Hoynes:
Hey, Hoynsie: Milwaukee is a small-market team. Yet they spend all kinds of money on free agents. They just signed Yasmani Grandal and last year signed Lorenzo Cain and traded for Christian Yelich. I do not think they have an owner who would spend more than he makes. How do they do it? -- Phil Haas, Marion.
Hey, Phil: Not sure if you’re complaining about the Indians, while slapping the Brewers on the back. But here’s one thing you should know. Milwaukee, based strictly on attendance, is a better baseball town than Cleveland.
Over the last seven years, the Brewers have never drawn fewer than 2.3 million fans for a team that’s made the postseason once in that span.
The Indians have drawn two million fans once in the last seven years, while going to the postseason four times.
