This wasn’t a bad game, per se, but it did highlight issues that will hopefully be resolved come October. Also Blake Snell is really, really good.
Edwards made his season debut last night and allowed 3 base runners. With today being a day game after a night game, it may mean that it will be time for Eric Haase to make his MLB debut.
A lot of folks seem to be reading into comments from Jason Kipnis and making it seem like he’s going rogue and hates everything right now. I find those takes to be more than a bit hyperbolic. I’m sure Kip isn’t stoked about moving off of second base, but he’s a competitor and he desperately wants to win a championship for Cleveland. I believe that those desires outweigh any negativity he may be feeling about the position shake-up.
