Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday, Corey Kluber, Andrew Miller and Trevor Bauer pitched on the Progressive Field mound. They each accomplished different things:

— Kluber: Reached 200 strikeouts, Won 19 games for the first time
— Miller: Earned his first save since returning from the DL, working around a passed ball and bloop single
— Bauer: Pitched simulated game to Eric Haase, Brandon Barnes and Adam Rosales, Got told by the GOAT to throw the “Home Run Pitch”,

• Jason Kipnis still has some work to do in center field; hopefully playoff games have as few balls hit there as these regular season games have had.

• Blake Snell won his 20th game, allowing just one hit in the process

Ronald Acuna is very good at baseball, writes Jeff Sullivan

• Brandon Morrow is done pitching for the season

• 2018 Breakout Player Trevor Story might have UCL damage but then again might not. Story and the Rockies now trail the Dodgers by 1.5 games IN
