Bauer getting X-rays after comebacker hits ankle | MLB
Bauer got struck by a line drive from Jose Abreu and was visibly limping around the mound. Thankfully he was limping as opposed to completely motionless and on the ground in pain. He’s got a bruise, and the medical staff thinks he’s ultimately going to be okay, but he’s getting X-rays just to be sure.
Encarnacion (biceps) headed to disabled list | MLB
After days of speculation, what we all have been thinking was finally realized: Edwin Encarnacion is headed to the DL with swelling in his (on his? of his?) biceps. As Merritt pointed out, this is Yandy Diaz’s chance.
