Game Thread: Cleveland in Detroit at an odd start time

Still, I have enjoyed this rivalry as of late.

I’ve got the recap for the next three days, so buckle up, weirdos.

I don’t think anyone is happy about where the team is right now. We’d like for them to be in first in the American League. We’d appreciate another stretch of sublime baseball, as in the last two seasons. Ideally, they’d start socking infinite dongs.

Infinite. Dongs.

Baseball is stupid and the season is long, which helps to mitigate some of the stupidity. The playoffs are not long; the Indians are likely in.

Games are much, much shorter than a season or even the playoffs. Let’s hope for some stupidity in the Tribe’s favor tonight.

I don’t expect the team to waltz into August 24th and then win 27 of 28 games again, but hey. Windows.
