Lindor, Gennett power way to top May honors | MLB
Remember the other day when Matt told you to go vote Francisco Lindor into the All-Star Game? Well if you needed any more convincing, MLB announced yesterday that Lindor is the AL Player of the Month for May. Over 132 plate appearances in May, Lindor had a slash line of .373/.432/.737 (wRC+ of 211) with 44 hits total, 10 of which left the yard.
Plutko fires Clippers’ second no-hitter | MLB
Remember that Adam Plutko kid who pitched pretty well in his limited time with the Tribe this season before heading back to AAA? Well, he pitched 8.1 perfect innings on Saturday night and ended up with the minor league club’s second no-hitter of the season. Something tells me he’ll be back in Cleveland before too long.
