Still owed one hundred and sixty two million United States dollars by the Detroit Tigers, Miguel Cabrera will miss the remainder of the 2018 season with a biceps injury.
Cabrera will have surgery to repair the tendon and John Hicks will be the new Detroit first baseman.
The Tigers lost to the Twins last night, dropping them to third place in the division, 5.5 games behind the Indians, who also lost.
James Shields dominated the Tribe, and that’s annoying, so let’s move on to something that isn’t baseball. A video of J-Lo!
Many of you have been very gracious and complimentary about my analysis on @mlbonfox pregame shows. I guess it’s time everyone learned my secret ... @jlo #baseballsavant pic.twitter.com/bv5eW5Ikhf

Ok, so it looks like we’re still on baseball. So...
• Matt Belisle returned to the Twins. Pros for Belisle: A 5.06 ERA and 4.41 FIP got him another Major League contract. Cons: He has to play for Paul Molitor again.
• Mike Trout went crazy again last night.
• Chris Davis is still bad.
• LGFT “Cat” Albers will be spending some time on the Milwaukee DL.
