When Francisco Lindor stepped into the batter’s box in the top of the eighth, he knew that the game was tied and that he would need to step up. He proceeded to hit what would end up being a game winning home run, his second of the game, to give the Cleveland Indians a 9-8 win over the Twins in game 1 of this series.

The good news is that Andrew Miller doesn’t seem to have any significant damage in his knee after his recent injury, and a mechanical fix could alleviate the problem going forward.

Bradley Zimmer should be back with the Tribe soon, but that will present a roster shuffle that will may impact Greg Allen. Allen has been on a hot streak for the Tribe recently, but his at-bats would likely be minimized with the return of Zimmer and consistent playing time is going to be best for Allen’s development right now.
