For the first time in almost two weeks, the Cleveland Indians are sending Josh Tomlin to the mound to face the Detroit Tigers. His last start was pretty bad, but to be fair so were all but one of the other four starts he’s had this season, so at least he’s consistent.
We also know that Tomlin is good for a string or two of outstanding starts, so maybe today he can start one against one of the worst overall teams in baseball. Unless, of course, cleanup hitter James McCann brings his .388 slugging percentage to the party and ruins everything.
