Life comes at you fast.
Like everyone else, the Toronto Blue Jays are frustrated with the prolonged winter we currently find ourselves trapped in. Their weekend in series in Cleveland against the Indians was completely wiped out by rain delays while a nice climate-controlled dome sat unused in Canada.
So, naturally, the Blue Jays had some fun with it on social media in their two days of boredom by throwing shade at Progressive Field’s lack of a roof:

They even promised fans that the game wouldn’t be missed on Monday, because weather can’t get a dome. No, sir, not no way not know how.
Tomorrow, no game will be missed. We promise.

Seventeen hours later.
Tonight’s game has been cancelled due to inclement weather causing damage to our roof. We apologize to our fans for this inconvenience. Further info for those with purchased tickets to the game will be shared shortly. Tomorrow’s game will be a 3:07 p.m. traditional doubleheader

Whoops. Well...
Blue Jays threw a little shade at Cleveland for the weekend rainouts.

And then their home game today got banged because their precious roof is broken.#WhatGoesAroundComesAround https://t.co/twikzj1YJF
In all seriousness, I’m glad no one was hurt and nobody wins when the weather causes yet another delay to our precious baseball season. But this has to be some kind of universal karma.
