James Paxton couldn’t control any of his pitches early on and Yonder Alonso punished him with a first inning grand slam. Thankfully, Yan Gomes followed up with a two-run home run of his own in the later innings to help maintain a lead since Carlos Carrasco ran into trouble in the sixth inning.
