Tribe News
Welcome back Mr. Davis. I think a healthy Davis has a very good chance to make the Tribe’s opening day roster. From Joe Noga:
General manager Mike Chernoff said the emotional ties that Davis has to the organization were a part of negotiations with the player and his agent, but at the same time, it’s what Davis did consistently throughout 2016 for the club that sealed the deal.
“This is a guy who’s a great presence in the clubhouse, who added a lot of complementary skills to the team and who got a lot of playing time and was able to fill a big role for us,” Chernoff said.
