Report: Morrison turned down 2-year, $20M offer from Indians | theScore
Given the free agent market this offseason, it seems foolish for Logan Morrison not to take the guaranteed $20 million that Cleveland offered him. But instead, the Tribe signed Yonder Alonso to a similar, albeit cheaper 2-year, $16 million contract.
Around the league
- The Chicago Cubs have signed Yu Darvish to a 6-year, $126 million contract, the largest contract of the offseason so far.
- Don Mattingly is apparently excited about what’s happening in Miami.
- Mike Foltynewicz and Kendall Graveman both lost their arbitration hearings on Saturday.
- The Colorado Rockies have gone too far:

NOBODY suggest this to the Cleveland staff.
