Indians trade for San Diego’s Walker Lockett

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at San Diego Padres Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday, the Indians traded for RHP Walker Lockett, formely of the Padres. They also added Bobby Bradley, Sam Hentges and Jean Carlos Mejia to their 40-man roster to protect them from the Rule V draft.

We also have some great news to pass along, as Leonys Martin has been cleared by doctors.

• Adrian Beltre has retired. He will be greatly missed and in the HOF shortly.

• David Price is the AL Comeback Player of the Year

• Derek Dietrich was surprisingly DFA’d by the Marlins
