The BBWAA has spoken and the 2018 Managers of the Year are Bob Melvin and Brian Snitker.
Melvin beat out Kevin Cash and the World Series champion and Snitker beat out Craig Counsell and the World Series loser.
I would argue that Cash and Counsell should have won, but who really wants to debate this? Paul Molitor was foolishly chosen last year and I don’t think he would have traded his job for the award.
I do distinctly remember Melvin clearly out-managing Terry Francona in at least three games this season, though.
