• Clayton Kershaw gets the ball in Game 1 for the Dodgers, followed by Ryu, Buehler, and Hill. I really hope that Kershaw can buck the narrative that he can’t pitch in the postseason. His NLDS performance (8.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K) is a good sign of that.
• Gio Gonzalez, on the other hand, will start for the Brewers later this evening.
• The Cubs fired their hitting coach Chili Davis.
• Adam Wainwright will be back with the Cardinals for another season in 2019.
• Carlos Correa is nursing a back injury.
• We’re spared Angel Hernandez for the LCS series’, but we’re stuck with Joe West.
