Here’s to a great week!
Indians 11, Tigers 1
Jose Ramirez’s huge game helped the Tribe finish off the club’s first ever four-game sweep of the Tigers in Detroit. Ramirez finished with five extra-base hits (two of which were home runs). With the win, the Indians are now 80-56 on the season!

Francisco Lindor’s 26th home run makes him Cleveland Indians’ single-season leader at shortstop | Cleveland.com
Just a reminder . . . many scouts thought Lindor would be a 10-15 hr guy.
Corey Kluber wins AL Pitcher of Month honors | Indians.com
Keep the awards coming. From Kyle Beery:
Kluber said one of the biggest factors of his recent success has been his ability to attack the strike zone.
"The biggest thing is going out there and pounding the strike zone, keeping the pressure on their hitters," Kluber said. "Not giving them any free passes, just throwing strikes and moving the ball around the zone."
Kluber has not only been pounding the strike zone, but he's also been missing bats at a high rate. That was apparent in his 9.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio, as well as his 10.57 K/9 rate in August.
