For second night in two weeks, the Cleveland Indians will take the field without their skipper. The team announced today that Terry Francona will miss tonight’s game as he undergoes further medical examination for a condition that has seemingly lingered all season long.
Per the local media, the Indians did stress that Tito has not had a repeat episode, this is just further testing to help “narrow down” what the condition could be. Tito could be back for Wednesday’s game.
Antonetti tells media that Tito is at the Clinic for more test and will not manage team Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday. Tests were scheduled.

Francona not managing tonight. At Cleveland Clinic undergoing tests. No setback. Just continuing to try to determine cause of health issues.

Brad Mills will be handling the managerial duties tonight. He last managed the Indians on June 27 in a 1-0 loss to the Texas Rangers.
