Here’s to a great week!
White Sox 3, Indians 1
The Tribe’s winning streak ended at nine, with a tough loss Sunday afternoon in Chicago. Josh Tomlin looked great for four innings but a hamstring issue forced him out. With the loss, the Indians are now 57-46 on the year and hold a two game lead over the Royals in the AL Central.

Andrew Miller continues to be the trade that keeps giving for the Indians | Cleveland.com
It was one year ago that Miller came over from the dark side and what a year it has been. From Paul Hoynes:
A year ago, early in the morning on July 31, word spread that the Indians had acquired left-hander Andrew Miller from the New York Yankees.
It did not seem like a particularly overwhelming need for the Indians at the time. Their bullpen was strong with Zach McAllister, Dan Otero, Bryan Shaw and Cody Allen at the backend. Miller made it better, much better than even the men that engineered the deal could have imagined.
Around the League

- Jonathan Lucroy traded again, on his way to Colorado.
- Cubs, not Indians, acquire Justin Wilson from Tigers.
