Josh Tomlin was cruising in Sunday afternoon’s contest against the Chicago White Sox. After four no-hit innings, Tomlin came out to throw his warm up pitches to start the fifth when Tito and the trainer came out to check up on him. After a brief discussion, Tomlin exited the game due to an blockbuster trade apparent injury. Twitter had the update:

No word on the severity of the injury, but it appears that the rotation will revert back to its five man form, at least temporarily. Prior to exiting the game, Tomlin was dealing. In four innings of work, Tomlin had allowed zero hits and zero runs while walking no one and striking out five.
