Hey the Indians won a game last night! That’s pretty neat, I must say. I’d love for them to do it again and again and again. But one game at a time, I suppose.

Yan Gomes hit a home run, the Giants played shoddy defense, Francisco Lindor looked like he’s on the rebound, and Josh Tomlin was incredibly efficient with his pitches through 7.1 innings. More like this, please.

Danny Salazar’s next start could be with the Cleveland Indians | Cleveland.com

As a big Danny Salazar fan, I’m really rooting for him to come back to the rotation with a vengeance. Given the recent struggles of Trevor Bauer and Josh Tomlin (last night’s game excluded), another power arm in the rotation could be the missing piece for the Tribe.

Merritt rejoins Tribe; Naquin sent to Triple-A | MLB

Speaking of rotation problems, due to Trevor Bauer’s short outing this past weekend, the Indians were forced to play rotation musical chairs in order to get some backup for the bullpen. The reinforcement came in the form of Ryan Merritt who was brought up prior to yesterday’s game with the Giants.
