Let’s Go Tribe is looking for a dedicated video producer to create five short (:30, 2 minutes at most) videos per month to be shared on social media channels and YouTube. This is a paid position on a $150 monthly stipend.
A good candidate for this is someone who can meet deadlines and follow creative direction. It does not matter if you use Premiere, iMovie, Final Cut, Movie Maker, or somehow animate frames using MS Paint. If you can make engaging videos, we want to see it. Unless you have specific ideas for videos, most of them will be based off posts written on the site or big events that happen throughout Indians games.
Prior professional experience is not necessarily required. If you’ve messed around a lot in video editing software to the point where you’re proficient and want to make a few bucks every month doing it, this is the perfect gig.
How to apply
- Create a short video (:30-minute) based on this post about the Indians All-Star votes so far. Assume it would be put on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Fill out this form, and include a link to the video.
If you follow any SB Nation mothership site (MLB, NBA, NFL, etc), you are probably familiar with the kind of format we are looking for. But here are two examples. Obviously the ones created for Let’s Go Tribe would be Indians-centric.
