The Tribe managed to avoid getting swept at hime ahead of a crucial series with the first place (ugh) Minnesota Twins. So, hey, that’s something! More about that an other baseball news below:

A decent performance by Josh Tomlin was punctuated by a Chisen-outburst that saw Lonnie going deep and finishing the game with 5 RBI. Edwin Encarnacion also stayed hot, going 3-3 with another dinger.

Should Indians fans be concerned about Francisco Lindor? Bud vs. Doug |

Lindor has struggled mightily since really the beginning of May, and even the most devoted worshippers at Temple Lindor are starting to get worried. Despite his hot start and once huge lead in the AL All-Star voting, he has recently been past by the surging Astros star Carlos Correa. Three takeaways from the tough series vs. the Dodgers | Wahoo’s on First

The Dodgers are a good team, but this series was a downer in a lot of ways. Not the least of which was watching Andrew Miller look human and get charged with five runs. But there were some positives, too, like... uh, not getting swept? I guess?

Bradley Zimmer has generally been a joy to watch thus far in his brief rookie campaign. Perhaps part of that success can be attributed to Bradley’s father Eric, who is willing to go to great lengths both literally and metaphorically to watch both of his major league sons play.
