Today’s series finale between the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers has been postponed, the Indians confirmed on Twitter.
The game was set to be an early afternoon bout between Danny Salazar and 2016 Rookie of the Year Michael Fulmer. Instead, the Indians will use it as a travel day to head to Kansas City for their next series.
If the call seems early to you, please direct your attention to this weather radar over Detroit. The green isn’t grass — it’s more rain.
The Indians will play the Tigers again at the end of June into July for a three-game set in Detroit.
