For this week’s FanPost Friday, tell us what you think the next market inefficiency in baseball is, or will be

There are a number of statistically-minded folks in our community. Threads during games will often become tangents about statistical anomalies or interesting new trends. There have been entire FanPosts in the past about identifying certain new ways to measure hitters and prospects.

Now, it’s time to share the idea you keep returning to when you’re supposed to be making cold calls. Do you have a way to identify pitchers that make weak contact (please don’t tell the Rockies)? Is there a formula you’ve created that takes the massive pile of Statcast data and turns it into a meaningful metric? Do you simply have a fun idea for a new statistic that actually doesn’t mean anything at all?

Share it. Send it into the world. We’ll be highlighting interesting, insightful, and funny contributions throughout the week.
