Danny Salazar vs. Francisco Liriano

Cleveland Indians vs. Toronto Blue Jays

When: Wednesday, May 10, 2017. 7:07 p.m. ET.

Where: Rogers Centre, Toronto, Ontario, CA

How: TV - STO, Radio - WTAM

The past 9 games haven't all been peaches and cream (far from it), but if the Indians win tonight, they'll fly home with a 5-4 road trip. They'll have to beat yet another left-handed pitcher to do so, with this particular southpaw an old friend. Francisco Liriano, who was once a wunderkind in Minnesota, is now a 33-year-old grizzled vet with the Blue Jays. He has struggled to stay in the strike zone in his first six starts, and as a result has usually not lasted much past the fifth inning.

Danny Salazar, who has also been inefficient with his pitch count (though certainly not to the extent that Liriano has), will make the start for the Indians, and with an off-day tomorrow, I'm expecting Terry Francona to have a quick hook if Salazar labors in the middle innings.
