Maybe today won't be stupid and dumb.

Maybe.

It's Jackie Robinson day today in Baseball, so whether the Indians struggle or thrive, take a moment at some point during today's slate of games to honor the man. The excitement of today's game is owed in part to his courage.

Today's matchup at Progressive Field is also a treat. Corey Kluber and Justin Verlander face off once again. Verlander went 1-3 with a 4.88 ERA against the Tribe last year.

Commenters on Cleveland.com have offered such analysis as, "Can't wait to watch the tribe not get a hit until the 6th inning and see the pitching give up a bunch of runs" and "You can say without doubt that they are boring." Well, don't watch the game then, you idiots.

One last thought before today's lineup: If Lonnie hits a walk-off and someone dumps the Gatorade tray on him, is it still a Chinsentray?
