Indians pen reliever Bonilla to Minors deal | MLB

The Indians have had a knack over the past few seasons for finding serviceable journeymen relievers to eat innings out of the pen. Bonilla is a bit different in that he is still only 27 years old. He’s had some success in the minors, but has yet to see any of it translate to the majors. Maybe this is the season where he breaks out?

Logan Morrison just had one of his best seasons in 2017 and will most likely be looking for a nice payday because of it. It’s possible that the Indians will pursue him, but it’s unclear as to whether or not they will be able to produce the contract that Morrison is hoping for.
