The Cleveland Indians made a huge roster move yesterday when they designated left-handed pitcher Edwin Escobar for assignment. It's not known at this time why they decided to release the reliever, who they just claimed last November, but it frees up a roster spot for another transaction.
Oh wait, nevermind, the Indians also signed THE BEST HITTER OF THIS FREE AGENT CLASS AT A MASSIVE DISCOUNT OMGYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
